About Chef Ben Mukherjee

Behind 123 Meals is Chef Ben Mukherjee, a culinary professional with over 25 years of global experience. Originally from Varanasi, India, Ben discovered his passion for food as early as the 3rd grade. After studying hotel management in Delhi, he moved to the U.S. at 18 to pursue his culinary career, later working with world-renowned institutions such as the Taj Group of Hotels, Hyatt, Ritz Carlton, Yum! Brands, and even the White House in Washington, D.C.

In 2014, Ben brought his expertise to Canada, where he built a successful catering business specializing in fine Indian cuisine. Today, he calls Kingston home and continues to mentor aspiring chefs, while leading 123 Meals with the belief that food should connect cultures, inspire joy, and always be made with care.
